Cats have a lot to play for these next two weeks. Win out, and they win the SEC East and get another round with LSU. Would be a huge step for the program if they were able to play in the SEC championship, no matter the outcome. I don't see it happening, but it will at least make this week's game extremely exciting to watch.

 

UK cannot win the SEC east. At best they finish tied with UF (and possibly UGA and UT too). UF owns the head to head tie breaker, and will have a better SEC east record.

If UK wins out, there is more than likely going to be a 4-way tie atop the SEC East...does anyone know who will get the nod if that happens?

 

From what I can gather, the first eliminator is the combined head-to-head record between the teams...

 

UK 2-1

UF 2-1

UT 1-2

UGA 1-2

 

That eliminates UT and UGA, then once you narrow it to two teams, you go to their head-to-head, which obviously favors the Gators.

 

So, am I correct in saying that these are the possible scenarios in the SEC (assuming UT beats Vandy)?

 

1. Tennessee controls it's own destiny...win out and they win the East.

2. UK wins out...Florida wins the SEC East.

3. UK loses @ UGA and beats UT....Georgia wins the East.

So far this season I have been accurate. I play all of the marquee games this way. I try and set the depth charts and weather as close to life as possible.
