I have to agree with that. Our Tigers cannot afford to be overconfident, because there is always an underdog waiting to take advantage of that. Bellevue has taught us that in the past. Assuming we give Bellevue due respect, I think we will win. However we all know what happens when you assume....

No they won't no matter what happens Beechwood is always cocky and just thinks they can beat people with their uniforms. So when people realize they aren't the perfect team they are predicted as they can be stopped, not saying they are bad because yes they are a good team, but a very beatable team if they overlook Bellevue for one second..

I hope Bellevue can win this game for a cousin of mine is married to the head coach . But my mind says that it will be an awfully tall mountain for the yellow and black Tigers to climb .

When you have a great program like Beechwood. WHat is wrong with your kids having the attitude that they are good and shouldn't lose? As long as the coaches can keep them humbled. If you look at the good programs across the state they all have a certain swagger. (Beechwood, Danville, Trinity, St. X, Highlands, Male...) When those teams get off the bus they enter like champions should enter.

All you Bellevue/Dayton fans are great. If you did not think your team could win, well, you all should have your heads examined. However, pinch yourself and face reality.

 

Grizzly: Bellevue will not and can not stop Beechwood's offense. Yes, they were winning in the first qt the first game, so what. The final score is all that matters. Beechwood never starts out very fast against certain teams, meaning, they always play to the level of their competition.

I said that what I thought Hurricane meant was that Bellevue is "the only team playing Beechwood this week". So, they are the only team that can beat Beechwood THIS WEEK.

 

It is meant as positive motivation for Bellevue. They have a chance to Knock off the top team in the state (depends on what poll you look at). No one else can say that.

:laugh::laugh::laugh: I assure you a hard hitting game! But as I have pointed out earlier (which you never answered to) sometimes you contridict yourself and really lose the ability to stick to the facts. Beechwood WILL WIN AGAIN!!!!!!

I guess it was some of those soft hits that caused all of the turn overs in the first game?!! Just curious does anyone else in the state that reads these post really believe Beechwood has a soft Hitting team? If so grizz, really could use some support!

:laugh::laugh::laugh: Only 21-6!!! You sometimes play to level of your competition, these are teenagers. You will see them get fired up for the big games.

You are absolutely 100% correct. But may I also add, what is wrong with having your players (and your FAN base) believing in what appears to be impossible? According to a few of the exceptional thinkers on here, the Bellevue boys needn't even show up. "Aw shucks boys, just show up and take your beat down and we'll all say ya done a good job." Sorry but the kids and fans don't think that way and never should they. Believeing is what got Dayton to their outstanding record, and believing is what gor Gardner-Webb past the wildcats. Sure it may seem improbable, but who are you folks to tell fans and players alike they have no shot? I think we'll show up and play the game for ourselves. Win or lose Friday night, the Bellevue Tigers have proven their metal.

The only time the Beechwood faithful get defensive is when people don't give them the respect they deserve. I even told the Bellevue faithful after the last game they were great host and that their team never gave up. I am aware that on any night one team can beat another, with that being said I don't think people really should take some of the post out of context. I definately agree with post 34 from CoachBuckett.
