Oh trust me, I am really loving what I have been seeing from some people in this thread. I just got done with a nice little discussion with someone on PM's and what has been going on here has just been great for what I had been saying. So I really am loving this! :ylsuper::thumb:

You are kind of right in your post. In that game 2 years ago no one really thought Bellevue would win. However that Bellevue team was 10 times better than this Bellevue team. And that Beechwood team was 10 times worst than this Beechwood team. That Beechwood team that year was just not a normal Beechwood team, and it showed when they got drilled in the playoffs by LCA....

 

I know I sure hope that this ends up being a great exciting game, but I just don't see it...

 

I would agree that the Bellevue team 2 years ago was a much better team than this year's team.

 

However, give that 2005 team some credit because the 2005 Beechwood team they beat was not 10 times worse than this years Beechwood team.

 

That Beechwood team was a very good team that had only lost to an Ohio power that year in Alter (by 3) and CovCath by 14. They beat everyone else including the eventual state champ NewCath who they defeated 24-21 the week before the Bellevue game.

 

And that Bellevue team had only lost 1 game at that point and that was to a very good Indian Hill Ohio team.

 

So in 2005 you had a couple of pretty good teams battling it out and it wasn't quite the "upset" that this game would be.

Any quality predictions by nyrangers this week?

If I were in my right mind, I would naturally pick Beechwood. But I am not, so for some reason, I will take Bellevue. I have no idea why, but if they can beat Dayton, who knows. I honestly don't care either way as long as the birds win Friday. Good luck to both teams and may the the best one win, then go bring back a state title to NKY.

Do Bellevue fans really think they can score 20+ on Beechwood? Have they given up that many to anyone besides NC?

 

Maybe all they have to do is score barely twenty.. A repeat score of the 05 game holding Beechwood to barely twenty also.. 26-21...

Never did I compare Dayton to Beechwood, just another opportunity for you to try to take a shot at a Birds' fan. If you read my comment, it stated that I should pick Beechwood, but for some reason, I can't. Sorry that you feel that way, but I am entitled to my opinion of Bellevue pulling off an upset. I agree it won't be a shut out. But not because of Bellevue's seniors, it will be because Beechwood substituted their starters out early in the 3rd Qtr. Bellevue's starters score on the 2nd teamers of Beechwood.

 

 

Seriously, I'm all for rooting for your team and supporting them. But if you really think Bellevue is going to give Beechwood a close game, then you need to take off the yellow and black colored glasses. This will not be close. Beechwood will physically dominate Bellevue.
