Jack 'Goose' Givens, ... hands down. No slap at Prince, he was a great UK player and a solid pro player. But Goose was da man who lit Duke up for 41 points in the 1978 national title game and will forever be remembered as one of the all time greats at UK!!!

Jack Givens without a question. He was the second leading scorer in UK history when he left.

 

He helped the Cats as a freshman get to the Title game.

 

He led KY to the NIT title in '76, the Final 8 in '77 and the National Title in '78.

 

Scored over 2,000 points in his career.

 

Scored the 3rd most points ever in an NCAA final, 41. (Still true today)

 

I liked Prince but he can't hold a candle to Goose with consistency, individual and team accomplishment.

Best 7 foot+ 21 is Shag.

Nah this one was easy. 3rd in scoring all time at UK, leads his team to a championship over the dreaded dukies. Slam dunk.
