Isnt Cheating Cheating?

Isnt Cheating Cheating?

I don't know it is?

So now you're saying calling a person too many times is the same as paying that kid?:eek::eek:

Is he not the same coach, unless I'm remembering this story incorrectly, who had to sign a section on his current contract about if problems following him from his old school show up during the current investigation against that school (the old one) and himself, that he could be immediately dismissed???

It looks bad for UK in the above postings, but it was all DIFFERENT coaches (except 88/89) doing it.

This guy has been caught twice now (at DIFFERENT schools) and apparently can't learn the rules.....Matter of time, if it keeps up, like it is, that the Hoosiers may just join us on that list.....Once under the microscope, hard to get away from the lens.....

(Didn't the investigation at the old school involve just a LITTLE more than some over the top phone calls, also????)

I don't know it is?

So now you're saying calling a person too many times is the same as paying that kid?:eek::eek:

Who has ever said that? Let me rephrase, who has ever said the two were on the same level of wrong?

Homicide and Jaywalking are both crimes, but on way different levels. Just like texting and paying a kid are both against NCAA rule, but on way different levels. I really think the argument you are trying to nail home is pretty self explanatory to everyone.

98NCCalum: Please list the infractions committed by the current staff at each school.

I really think someone has way to much time on their hands.

I sure didn't read anything I did not already know.

I sure hope researching all this meaningless info is done on free time and not some employer's.

I think the UK fans are getting on someones nerves. :D

If you're going to lump all infractions by schools, might want to Include chair tossing, throat choking, verbal abuse and related at IU.....:sssh:

Many programs get infractions, penalties and Rules violations. It's the school which seems to tolerate it, that should be ashamed.

If you look at the last 2 infractions, which were huge! UK had a complete overhaul of the program both times. No one is really taking up for Hal Mumme and Eddie Sutton and fans are very upset about what they did.

As for Indiana, I do not think Sampson should be fired and its not as big of a deal as what happened at UK, but its not something that should be accepted either.

The big problem I see with all of this is this is the 2nd time this has happened. I believe a lot the UK fans on here are overreacting a bit (even though it is cheating, I do think it goes on a ton) while the Indiana fan(s) are acting like it is not a big deal and shrug it off as nothing. I believe there should be a middle ground in all this.

98NCCalum's version of the "No Spin Zone"? How come you picked 1963 for the cut-off? Why not use the default of 1953? So you could post

Indiana: No Records Found scared.gifscared.gifscared.gifscared.gifscared.gif:p ?

:lol::lol: That's funny.

Notice that during all of those years of Bobby Knight "abuse", IU had no NCAA violations. That would explain why they are having a hard time dealing with this situation.

For anybody who cares, here is the link where 98 got his info.

https://goomer.ncaa.org/wdbctx/LSDBi/LSDBi.MajorInfPackage.MI_Search_Input?p_Cmd=Go_Search

Search using University of Oklahoma. That's more relevant to the current issue.

Hey as the old adage goes in SEC football if you aren't cheating, it's because you aren't trying hard enough.
