October 22, 200718 yr I would say the folks in Blacksburg, VA have an argument as one of the toughest places to play. Va Tech has such a home field advantage nobody which team is there to play.

He also said there was some kind of cage over where they came out and everybody poured beer on them on the way out. He said he stunk of brew the whole game but loved the atmosphere.
October 22, 200718 yr There are several that would be high on the list: Neyland Stadium, the Big House, the Swamp, between the hedges, and LSU. Virginia Tech is usually tough at home. I guess the hardest place in the country to play would be anywhere on the road in the SEC!!!
October 22, 200718 yr In no certain order; Ohio State (the shoe) Michigan (the big house) LSU (Tiger stadium/death valley especially on a Sat. night) Va. Tech (playing them in Blacksburg is tough) Oklahoma (those people live, love,eat, drink and sleep football) Almost anywhere in the SEC - Neyland Stadium in Knoxville / Athens , between the hedges / Auburn / Bama and Bryant - Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa are all as tough as any / at U.F. in Gainsville s no picnic either.
October 23, 200718 yr The Swamp, hands down. I had a friend who playes at Swamp and LSU last year, he said no comparrison, LSU is by far the loudest place they are, he said the ground literaly shook and the roar was loud the whole game.
