The Sophomore LCA QB is the best I have seen since Brohm or Justin Burke. He reminds me of Colt brennan. He may be a little small he needs to get taller.

I believe there are several "could be the next great one" in the state of KY. But unless your program is committed to a serious passing game (30/35) attempts a game then you are just another average Fri. Nite QB. I think there is alot of wasted talent at QB year in year out in HS football because quite frankly unless your Offensive Coor is a former QB then he probably doesnt understand the passing game enough to teach it and trust it.

Justin Burke had a fabulous state championship year in 2005.

 

Interesting fact, Tim Couch's 48 touchdown passes in 1994 is 9th all-time on the Kentucky High School touchdown pass list.

I can't say the PC QB is a Brohm or Woodson but he's a special player. Remember the name Chris Muse. He's quick, smart and has all of the tools. He's a winner and a leader. He is a sophomore and look what he's doing this year at Pulaski! He started as a freshman and gets better each week. His arm strength is underrated but the people who have watched him are aware of his talent.

 

His arm is okay, but for a sophomore, not bad. He is still very young and his arm will just get stronger. What is VERY impressive is his overall athleticism. Very hard to catch, runs hard, quick, etc. I really like this kid and he is the leader of his team, no doubt. Throws pretty good short to intermediate routes and his longball has nice touch, just hangs a little now where he doesn't have the strength he will have next year and the year after. I like this kid and he will be one to watch. IMHO, he is a very good football player who could play several positions on the field.

Some here are confusing stats with greatness.Plus, I think this thread means greatness at next level. Woodson had very modest records at his highschool but he had great potential. I'm sure many of the young QB's that are being mention here are good and great highschool QB's but which ones can get Division 1 offers?

Doesn't Haddix from Breathitt County have the record for TD passes in a season? He did at one time ...

The most impressive QB that I have seen in person this season would be the QB from Franklin Co. Has good size with a solid arm. Moves around and outside the pocket pretty well to be so big. I believe this kid is only a sophomore as well? Someone can correct me on that if Im wrong. Duckworth from Woodford Co. is pretty good as well, but his size will hurt him in terms of college potential.

Those are some pretty impressive numbers!!!!! How was he able to throw that many Td's. Who the heck were they playing!!!!

Robinson is somewhere in the neighborhood of 6-3, 190. He's mobile and very accurate. He can throw the deep ball and he has a nice touch. He can also scramble.

 

Obviously, his quality of competition is lacking compared to many other QBs in this state. His stats are also fueled by Lone Oak's offensive scheme, which is about 80 percent or more pass.

 

There could be some upside because he's only been a QB for three years. He was a receiver when he moved to Lone Oak from Tennessee, and he was sort of discovered by Billy Jack Haskins, the former UK QB and the son of Lone Oak coach Jack Haskins. Billy saw the kid throwing, liked his arm and told his dad "There's your quarterback."

 

Robinson has some I-AA offers. I suspect his size might keep him from getting I-A offers.
