The Maysville Sonic has 5 burgers for 5 bucks on Tuesday evenings.

Better burger than most of the fast food joints. I don't care for their fries, though.

Agreed - the burgers are a cut above MickeyD's, but the Sonic fries are nasty.

I agree. They have a large menu too, though. I usually get the tots instead of fries. I've probably eaten a quarter of the menu.

 

But, after a long night out there is nothing better than a sausage, egg and cheese burrito with a cherry limeade.

Burgers are good, but IMO not as good as Wendy's. Fries are not good always seem overcooked. Onion Rings would be my pick. And any of the Shakes and Juice drinks are good.

Almost started a thread on this last night.

Burgers are about average.

Kids had one of the shakes and they liked them.

I had the chili/cheese tater tots...."you want your tots?"...and they were delicious.

I like their mozzarella sticks, but that's about it. I loathe eating there.

I'm a huge fan of the sausage burrito with an order of tots. You can't go wrong! But the fries aren't good. Tots or onion rings are the way to go.

Business wise its a great location. Now, if they'd just improve the facilitation of traffic all would be well. It's not just the Sonic parking lot that is a mess traffic wise, its everywhere on that road. It desperately needs to be widened. Traffic there in the morning, afternoon, and evening is just utter chaos. I've said for the last 5 years that they needed to build more resteraunts and the like on Mt. Zion, not a lot of selection there and a good base to draw from.

I think it would be better if it was in Union, by the Kroger and Skyline on U.S. 42. There actually is a decent amount of places to eat off the Mt. Zion exit. Steak N' Shake, Rallys, Subway, Bobs, Gold Star, Jersey Mikes, Larosas, Margaritas. Just off the top of my head... And I personally, have not eaten at that Sonic just because of the location!
