Sonic - any good?

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever eaten at a Sonic before? And are they that good? One just opened up off the Mt. Zion exit 2 weeks ago, and the place is always packed. They actually have to have an extra employee standing at the entrance turning people away as traffic backs up and sits on the main road.

They are alirght. A lot of people go for their drinks.

Their food is average, but I think most of their customers come for the drinks and drink specials.

I like Sonic. It's really no different that any other fast food burger place, but their drinks and shakes are fun and good (stay away from the Sweet Tea (ask KYB)).

Their footlong chile-cheese dog is pretty good, so are the onion rings.

They were great in the 70's, but now I don't think they're anything extraordinary.

Sonic is pretty good. The ice cream and shakes are the specialty. They do serve breakfast all day long though and you can't go wrong with their breakfast burritoes!

You could open a new restaurant that sold sauerkraut and people in NKY will line up for it.

Lining up for Sonic? Yikes.

I think you answered your own question with your statement.

I could live off of their sausage, egg & cheese burritos. You guys are nuts.

Anyone else laugh hysterically at the guy in the passenger seat in the Sonic commercials?

"As my grandfather always said, "Carpe deBurrito".

"Seize the burrito?"

"Is THAT what that means? What an idiot..."

At least for a few months. Then your heart would seize up.
