October 8, 200719 yr Is Florida Atlantic a cupcake? That beat Minnesota? That took South Florida to the wire? I don't think they were as much of a cupcake as the outcome would have you think. He must have been talking about EKU, Kent St, and Louisville
October 8, 200719 yr He must have been talking about EKU, Kent St, and Louisville  We've had this discussion before...Either Louisville was a Top 10 team, or a cupcake...Can't have it both ways. :thumb:

October 8, 200719 yr I'll go with the former. :thumb: :thumb: I keep trying to, but its getting VERY difficult.
October 8, 200719 yr Protect the football and win the turnover battle. Win 3rd down on offense and defense. Otherwise, LSU will win big.
October 8, 200719 yr Protect the football and win the turnover battle. Win 3rd down on offense and defense. Otherwise, LSU will win big. That was my thinking also 5wide. I just have a feeling, that LSU will have several TO's and UK will capitalize. If not, it could be a long day. LSU has a very quick "D" line and they can force a lot of pressure, which will result in passes being released quickly.
October 8, 200719 yr At last UK is beating their cupcakes. :sssh: Freudian slip? I really can't tell. "At least UK is beating their cupcakes" takes a shot at UofL but "At last UK is beating their cupcakes" portrays a sense of accomplishment. So, which is it?
October 8, 200719 yr At last UK is beating their cupcakes. :sssh: Good point. U of L still has time to win 1-2 more games. It's hard to say a team can beat teams like USF, Rutgers, Cincy, and West VA. with a loss to 1-5 SYRACUSE.
October 9, 200719 yr Freudian slip? I really can't tell. "At least UK is beating their cupcakes" takes a shot at UofL but "At last UK is beating their cupcakes" portrays a sense of accomplishment. So, which is it? supposed to be "least." UK has almost always beaten the cupcakes. Its just that those are the ONLY teams they usually beat. (Can't really think of losses other than Ohio in '04)
October 11, 200719 yr I will be there rooting for UK! College Gameday is going to Norman, OK for the Soonsers and Mizzou Tiggers. Even if UK had won on last Thursday I would have been shocked to see Gameday there. I can't imagine them doing an LSU game two weeks in a row. According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_GameDay_%28football%29#2007 Only Florida, Florida State, and Meeeechigan have gotten the back-to-back treatments in the 90's. Looks like no one has in this decade. http://sports.espn.go.com/espntv/espnMicrosite?showID=FBCG
October 11, 200719 yr After big blue madness... I really believe that we will win this game. We have to play our best game and protect the ball, but I just have a feeling that UK will be 6-1 on sunday. UK - 31 LSU - 27
October 11, 200719 yr That was my thinking also 5wide. I just have a feeling, that LSU will have several TO's and UK will capitalize. If not, it could be a long day. LSU has a very quick "D" line and they can force a lot of pressure, which will result in passes being released quickly. I have a feeling that LSU won't turn the ball over and UK will a couple or three times...UK's defense won't be able to get off the field on third down...LSU will win by at least 3 TD's. That's my honest guess. I definitely won't be shocked if UK wins...how could I be after what's happened this season in college football? UK over LSU would hardly rate as an upset compared to some other games...Stanford over USC, App State over Michigan, Syracuse over Louisville... UK over LSU? Why not?
