Spurrier ends all hope of a dream year. Beats Kittens by 12.

I'm getting more and more tempted to dig up all your old predictions.

Spurrier will lose his mind if he loses this game!

Cats win 35-24.

Another streak falls if the Cats win (er, ... I mean when the Cats win!)

I like Coach Brooks' comments on ESPN radio after the win on Saturday. "We are going to find out where we are this Thursday when we travel to South Carolina." He is right. This may be the biggest game UK plays all year. Win this one (currently UK is a 3.5 underdog), even if they lost to LSU and UF, .. they still will have high national regard.

The more I think about it, I am going to stick with my prediction of UK winning by 3.

Okay, since I've picked the 'Cats to lose to UL and at Arkansas, hopefully if I stay consistent they will as well.

I think the environment will rattle the Cats. I expect a highly energized stadium in Columbia and if UK get out early it would really help.

Again, hope me picking against them continues to work!

UK -- 27

"Other" USC -- 38

Hope I'm wrong, Go Cats!

This is going to be a great game. I have confidence that Coach Brooks will have this team prepared. Still, tough to play on the road. I would love to see them beat Spurrier! GO CATS!!!

OK so once again UK fans still pick the other team, this is starting to crack me up. Have some faith in this team already. They get it done every week and have succeeded any expectations that anyone had for them this year. UK will end another bad streak and beat Spurrier for the first time ever. Woodson isn't a time bomb QB so INT's aren't that big of a thing to be concerned with. UK will win if their defense has a pretty good game. Offense has been consistent in every game thus far and will continue to do so. Just wait and see guys! :thumb:

UK-41

USC-27

I totally agree that they have to stay poised, I just think from what I have seen with my own eyes this year, KY is a better team.

This Kentucky team seems to be very poised...I think they feed off Woodson and Brooks to some extent. They could have easily folded against Arkansas and U of L, but they didn't. I expect them to stay poised, but they still can't afford mistakes...even if they stay poised, it will be hard to climb out of any hole they dig. There are a few big difference in South Carolina and Arkansas to me...

1) USC has a better coach

2) They have a better defense, which will make it tougher to come from behind

3) Tougher place to play

4) Their offense is more balanced...they don't have the dynamic game-breakers like McFadden and Jones, but they can run and pass. Arkansas couldn't...The Arkansas passing game is weak to start with, and their two 2 WR's were out against UK.

This will easily be UK's toughest opponent to date. If UK wins this game, they are definitely a team to be reckoned with, IMO.

So far this year I've predicted UK to lose against the two teams that many thought would be close games (UL and Arkansas). I havent been right either time. I guess its good luck for us.

So...

SC-35

UK-24

Hope the Cats can prove me wrong again this week.

South Carolina is ranked #11, they aren't a bad football team and expect it to be jam packed and fans going crazy on Thursday for this game. UK has to stay poised to win this game!

Falling behind 10-0 at Arkansas with that crazy crowd did not rattle the Cats and it won't bother them at SC. Woodson is as cool as they come and the Cats just go about their business as usual - scoring lots of points.

I'm thinking the clock is close to midnight and in 3 weeks UK is 5-3. SC-27 UK-19

I am a very big Gamecock fan and i think that it will be very close game but of course my gamecocks will come out with a win by a touchdown or less

Cats by 12, 41-29.

If Kentucky wins, they become the first team in the nation to become bowl eligible.

Except for Notre Dame, who will be bowl eligible even if they are winless.

Its always a good thing to get that bowl eligiblity out of the way. This game against USC means so so much.

This will easily be UK's toughest opponent to date. If UK wins this game, they are definitely a team to be reckoned with, IMO.

I agree...
