I simply don't see UK winning this game. I'm afraid Coach Spurrier will continue to work his magic against the Wildcats. I hope I'm wrong, but I have to go with

South Carolina 38

Kentucky 28

I'll have to agree. USC is a tough place to play, and Kentucky is due a letdown. I'll go a bit lower with the score, but I'll say:

USC 35

UK 26

He's still 2-0 against the Cats while at USC.

Yeah, but that was against UK 2.005 & 2.006.

This year he faces UK version 2.007....

Home team wins this one, but I'm pulling for the Cats. Cats got to play a near perfect game, after CSS's comments about Clemson/Cats he need to lose to UK.

Well, it seems like Spurrier can always find a way to rip our hearts out. I just hope that this time we find a way to rip his out. Losing to KY would be tough on the ole ball coach's ego.

UK - 29

USC-28

On the POWER of a 2pt conversion.

I've really expected a loss in this game up until this week...for some reason, I have a feeling UK is going to win this game. I was almost afraid to say it...jinx...so they'll probably lose, since I think they'll win.

UK - 34

USC - 32

South Carolina is favored by 3 1/2

UK is 5-0 against the spread this year and will go 6-0! UK-31 USC-28

BELIEVE IN SEC ROAD WINS!

There was a spread on the EKU game?

My pre-season prediction was 30-27 South Carolina. I will change it to Kentucky 34-27.

I hope to God I am wrong, but I see the hostile enviornment playing a roll in how well Woodson can run the offense. USC 31 UK 24

WHEN ARE UK FANS GOING TO QUIT WAITING FOR THE AXE TO FALL? They are a good football team. Expect them to beat a worse team.

OK so once again UK fans still pick the other team, this is starting to crack me up. Have some faith in this team already. They get it done every week and have succeeded any expectations that anyone had for them this year. UK will end another bad streak and beat Spurrier for the first time ever. Woodson isn't a time bomb QB so INT's aren't that big of a thing to be concerned with. UK will win if their defense has a pretty good game. Offense has been consistent in every game thus far and will continue to do so. Just wait and see guys! :thumb:

South Carolina is ranked #11, they aren't a bad football team and expect it to be jam packed and fans going crazy on Thursday for this game. UK has to stay poised to win this game!

I don't think there is a big difference between South Carolina and UK either way...UK has a big offense and an improving defense, while South Carolina has a great defense with an offense that struggles at times.

I look at this game much like the Arkansas game. UK must take care of the ball and take care of business on special teams...they can't give points away like they did against Arkansas. Offensive TO's and special teams mistakes were responsible for 19 of the Hogs 29 points.

I think Kentucky will have a much more difficult time scoring against the Gamecocks, so if they give away that many points, they will not be able to win this time.

If UK takes care of the ball on offense, doesn't put their defense in bad situations, and stays patient, I think they'll eventually crack the Gamecocks and win this game. If they don't, they'll lose. If both teams bring their best, I really think Kentucky is better...and I didn't think that until a week or so ago.

Exactly what I was thinking. UK, the last 2 weeks, has had a million offensive penalties (false starts, delay of game, etc...) and you can't do that if you want to win. UK better stay calm and make sure every player hears when Woodson audibles to another play because it will be crazy loud at that stadium and we can't have anymore mixups about what plays we're running because next time it could be the reason we lose.
