UK/UofL sets ESPN Classic viewership record

Featured Replies

At least he has his percentage against UofL now. For the record, I have always backed Coach Brooks even when everybody was calling for his head. I just thought he needed more time to get out of the probation era. The recruits will come in time and I think it will be sooner rather than later.

Maybe the fact that USC/Nebraska and 'Bama/Arkansas was showing updates made more people aware of the game. It's possible that more people were actually aware of the game and watched the end of it due to that...

...not sure what that amounts to.

That's clearly why the rating spiked at the end. And also shows that people just don't look for a game on Classic unless it's pounded in to their head to go there...

No, I said that's my opinion.

You just can't cope with the fact that your beloved Cardinals got beat by UK, and I love it....

I'm coping just fine thank you. What I'm having problems with is the UK fans that are suddenly football experts based on one win.

I'm having problems with UofL fans suddenly becoming football experts based on playing in a "major" conference. :jump:

This thread got jack on the first reply... what a shame. Argue about changing the game in another thread.

So my opinion doesn't count, because it differs from yours? I've said all along UofL was a good team, but was not on the elite level yet. Looks like I was right.

0-3 versus Petrino 1-0 versus Kragthorpe. How's that sound.:thumb:

:thumb: :thumb: UKMF be careful......you are clouding an argument with facts. :D I as well as yourself and others have said this same thing..........that U.L. was a good football team but not an elite program or on that level at this time.

Apparently it's just the fact that UK fans can't be experts...

Or, maybe our team just hasn't won enough games for our fans to be allowed to be experts...

I'm not sure how that works.

If that were the case, neither of the two schools' fans should be talking

I could have sworn I read an article in CJ that said viewership was down this year

I believe Bozich wrote an article talking about how viewership was way down. Apparently he had his facts wrong.

Sure your opinion counts. My opinion is that UK fans are putting way to much stock in one win. Does my opinion count, or is it less valid then yours because we disagree?
