As AJG said, if a kid was considering schools like UT,UF, and Bama, you really think that game would have them start condisering UK?

Did Rich Brooks think it gave his team an advantage to play in the 3rd game of the season? YES HE DID. Did UK win the football game over a top 10 ranked team and a huge in-state rivalry? YES THEY DID. Does Coach Brooks give a nickel for what certain people in the media and else where say? NO HE DOES NOT!

Not one that would have suddenly developed an interest from watching the game. If a player was already marginally intersted in UK I'm sure they've seen the highlights and heard who won.:thumb:

My original contention was that changing the game at UK wasn't going to save UK from the National Week 1 performances at UL. I can't seem to dig up what I had saved on the ESPN numbers from 05 right now. Give me a minute...
