September 18, 200719 yr I think Donovan's main problem is he plays in the worst city to play. Philadelphia is in many ways worse to its own players than it is to the rest. They booed McNabb when he was drafted, and outside of the Super Bowl season they haven't really treated him that well. I think that would be true of any QB that comes with the hype McNabb gets that played in that city. It certainly hasn't helped him that he is constantly injured.

Any athlete in Philly that doesn't get booed..............now there is story, no wonder it is a city of losers. JMO Here you go.

September 19, 200719 yr If he said it then that's how he feels. I don't agree with him but I do feel bad for him at times. Philly's WR's STINK! It's hard to throw to people when they can't get open. Westbrook is continually one of the most underrated players in the NFL but can't stay healthy. Other than that it's LJ Smith or nothing. Brown has potential but that's all he is right now. Philly is a tough place. I've heard McNabb is disliked by a lot of the black community for being "too white". He had the T.O. fiasco etc. I've always thought he and Andy Reid are pretty classy + consistant. I really hate to see him playing the race card now while times are a little tough.

September 19, 200719 yr I dont think that its got to do with Philly but it seems to be the thing to do if the team is playing poorly- go after the QB. I think that McNabb is trying to have people forget the fact that he is playing poorly aswell as the team and get the focus onto something else that isnt there.....

September 20, 200719 yr McNabb is a cry baby. Maybe everyone realizes now that it was McNabb, not Owens who was the problem in Philadelphia.
