They are D2 and ranked at or near the top of their class.

Great job Birds!!!

As you guys move on to the next level remember that the SEC is the best football (and pretty much everything else) conference, and UK is about 90 miles south of HHS. (I am not a coach, just an alumni) Big Ten... who?

Could this be the best HHS team ever?

WAAAYYYYY premature. Let's let them win something before the talk compares them to some of the others. Still, a huge win against a quality opponent. Congratulations Birds. We're all proud of you. Enjoy it tonight and tomorrow then forget it and focus on the next game.

Trotwoods Coach, Maurice Douglas played at UK with Jeff Kramer and John Shannon, so maybe both of these teams will send some players to UK?

How did Highlands defense that big Tight End of TM's??

I am so proud of our Birds -- we finally beat a formidable Ohio opponent! :ylsuper:

This is a victory for HHS -- for NKY -- for all of Kentucky.

Thanks RTS for keeping me posted! :thumb:

:dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa

Isn't this one for USA?

Since HHS scored on the first play after Trotwood took their only lead I would assume HHS only trailed for less than 20 seconds during this game...pretty impressive.

Very impressive..

And Trotwoods kicking game was very Poor...

This is a victory for HHS -- for NKY -- for all of Kentucky.[/size]

Here you go:

Way to Go Highlands!

Does that put them top 10 in D1? Top 5?

Good job Birds!

Someone already answered you and I agree with them, probably not top 10 but maybe 11 to 15.

TM was ultra talented but they have a long way to go if they are going to win a D2 title in Ohio.

Here you go:

Oh yeah.

Well, the last person I want to be compared to, is that loony.

JUst saw some nice highlights of the game on the news. Looked like the running game was definitely in high gear!

From now on can we call Highlands; USA, Highlands instead of Fort Thomas, Highlands?
