September 2, 200719 yr You need to up that prediction, if Woodson stays healthy! EKU = win Kent State = win Louisville = loss @ Arkansas = loss Florida Atlantic = win @ South Carolina = loss LSU = loss Florida = loss Mississippi State = win @ Vandy = win @ Georgia = loss Tennessee = loss This is the more realistic look, but I am going out on a limb and saying they may beat SC.
September 2, 200719 yr I heard Jordan Nevels had a pick. Congrats to him. He picked one off in like the last minute and a half of the game I believe. I forgot that he was playing down there til he got that.
September 2, 200719 yr Im as big of a UK fan as you can find but as improved as this team is IMO its going to be a 5-7 season. Cats looked good for a first game last night but Im still not sold we will upset anyone this season.

At 6-6 te Cats may go bowling again and I still think that a 6 win team (any 6 win team) does not deserve to go to a bowl. Rewarding mediocrity with a bowl game I just can't agree on. JMO
September 2, 200719 yr Big Blue Football Fans that left the game in the late 3rd and early 4th quarter when The Cats were winning should have to turn over their tickets to someone who will stay the whole game... WIN OR LOSE.. Have been a Cat fan for over 50 years and have never left a game even if the team was not "there" if you know what I mean.. Please Fans ... Stay until the game clock tells us the game is OVER I was a Wild Cat Mother, some 20 plus years ago. Made many road trips when it was hard, but stayed the fight. Is it that the party was getting started early?
September 4, 200719 yr Why all the gloom and doom...........UK can win several big games and has the ability to give the Cards a run

September 4, 200719 yr Does anyone know why 3 year starter and senior Josh Greco was benched after the 2nd series for Al Holland from Perry Central?
September 4, 200719 yr ^Holland and Greco split time the last few games last year. Personally, I think Holland should be starting....
September 4, 200719 yr I just found it interesting that Greco was interviewed and publically announced #1 all pre-season and hyping him before the game, then benching him after 2 series. I was at the game and never noticed anything he did awfully wrong, so I even watched the delayed broadcast to see if he got hurt or totally messed up or maybe an explanation from the announcers but nothing was ever said, nor did I see anything wrong with his play. I agree though Holland should start.
September 4, 200719 yr The cats looked good except for a few breakdowns on defense. In a few instances the linebackers appeared lost. All things said great game for the cats. Go big blue.

The tailgating started about noon so naturally we were pretty tired by this time and wanted to watch some of the Cal/Tenn game. I don't really think it's a big deal.

I don't really think it's a big deal. Everyone should be glad UK fans are leaving at the end of the 3rd quarter in a good mood. For years and years they left at the end of the 3rd quarter all depressed...
