September 1, 200719 yr For those saying its crazy to doubt the Big10: Do you remember UM and tOSU getting BEAT DOWN in the bowls last year? The Big10's record in BCS games is not good. People were arguing last year that UM and tOSU were 1 and 2 in the country, and the both got beat convincingly in their bowl games. Now highly touted UM gets beat by a 1-AA team AT HOME. When the consensus top team in your conference gets beat by a 1-AA team, it has to raise doubts about the whole conference. The Big10 is not living up to their reputation AT ALL.

September 2, 200719 yr I thought the Big 10 was bad last year but this year might be as bad as I've seen it. I still can't help but think how bad Appy's coahes would be feeling right now if they blew that game! WHY would you not spread it out and run your faster than lightening QB one time. If you don't score then A. Michigan wastes their last timeout or B you spike the ball and are in the middle of the field for an easier FG. Then to top it off I told my dad watch them throw this one up to Manningham because that's what everybody in America was waiting for. Appy has 1 man on him!!!! On a side note it was nice seeing Englemon almost pull off one of the biggest plays of the game. The score doesn't tell it all in this game! The last few minutes of the game were out of control! I DVR'ed it and the time ran out on the DVR with about 2:30 left in the game! Just thought I'd share so it doesn't happen to anybody else this year.
September 2, 200719 yr What is App. State ranked in the fcs? If there not ranked 1st they should be when the new polls come out. I also look to see Michigan fall at least 10 to 15 spots in the polls.
September 2, 200719 yr Lloyd Carr has been presiding over Michigan's deterioration as a college football power for many years now. Michigan has been humiliated in several recent bowls at the hands of USC and Tennessee. Since 2000, they have lost non-conference matchups to UCLA, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Nebraska and have a lopsided losing record to Ohio State in the Tressel era. Time for Lloyd to go... As a Buckeye fan I sincerely hope that they keep him and he stays at Michigan for life. :sssh:
