I just read that Vandy turned down an offer to return to UM for a second one year deal to play...so UM went searching for an opponent.

In addition, Hawaii offered to come and play Michigan for their first game but UM settled on Appy State.

Again if they win out and beat OSU and they will, and everybody else has one loss they will be OK. I didn't mean that Saturday's loss would be "forgotten" in the sense where it never happened, but in the realm of the college polls they could work themselves back.

What is App. State ranked in the fcs? If there not ranked 1st they should be when the new polls come out. I also look to see Michigan fall at least 10 to 15 spots in the polls.

I could see that team winning a ton of National Championships. I've been to Boone,NC. My girls family has a cabin there. I would be willing to bet that practicing football could be the most exciting thing going on in that small town.
