September 3, 200719 yr I just read that Vandy turned down an offer to return to UM for a second one year deal to play...so UM went searching for an opponent. In addition, Hawaii offered to come and play Michigan for their first game but UM settled on Appy State.

September 3, 200719 yr What is App. State ranked in the fcs? If there not ranked 1st they should be when the new polls come out. I also look to see Michigan fall at least 10 to 15 spots in the polls. App State won back to back National Titles and many people believe they will 3-peat.

My girls family has a cabin there. I would be willing to bet that practicing football could be the most exciting thing going on in that small town.
