I guess he had to get back somehow...

IF it were true, it wouldn't surprise me.

I agree. Not only with Couch but most of today's professional athlete's seems to have the mentality of a box of hammers.

They don't think about anyone except themselves and never realize the consequences of their actions until they are caught up in illegal activities.

With all that is gong on in the world of sports today, I am not surprised by anything that I hear about the athletes.

If the allegations about Couch using roids are true, I'll place him on the no respect list with others that have similar backgrounds.

"If" he did it, was just to get himself in shape and he wanted a come back .

You make it sound like it is ok then just because he was trying to come back...

That would be like say "if" bonds did it, he only did it because he wanted to break the single season homerun record. So its not big deal then...

Oh, well that makes it ok then.

Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield... :walk:

Yeah I think that about does it for his comeback.

HUGE difference between Bonds & Tim:

1. Tim was not under any NFL contract & as long as medical, I dont have a huge problem. I also dont have a problem giving steroids to cancer patients, etc.

2. If Bonds did do HGH, he was under contract & a member of MLB.

I dont agree with taking it but if he doesnt test positive while under contract I dont have as big a problem with it.

There is such a double standard when it comes to baseball and football. I am not knocking Couch at all but if this was a baseball player they would be executed them.

So you dont have a problem with someone who might not be quite good enough to cut in professionals sports by doing normal methods. And you wouldn't care if that guy is out of a league takes steroids gets huge and then becomes an awesome player? Because since he was out of the league it is alright for him to try to get an advantage to come back? That is not right at all...

You can't have it both ways people, you are either fully against steroids and think they should not be involved when it comes to athletes, or you dont have a problem with it...

That has never made sense to me. Because people playing football using steroids is a bigger problem that a baseball player using steroids IMO. But for some reason you are right it is alot bigger deal in baseball than football...
