August 27, 200719 yr Haven't most of those guys been guys that have a reputation of being fast and being a scrambler? Usually not QB's that have thrown for over 3000 yards in ANY season. Very true. For whatever reason though he just doesn't strike me as a QB who would thrive in the NFL. I was throwing the position change out there as a possibility.

August 27, 200719 yr This board is dominated by UL fans and they have had the better program last few years. Brohm is most of their hero's... Woodson gives him stiff competition. I wish he would have been a few years younger than Brohm or vice versa, so we wouldn't have had to listen to all this the past few years. I don't think I have ever seen a more amusing statement in the college forums. There are far fewer UL fans on the board than UK fans. That said, both groups of fans like to play the victimhood mentality. UL fans with the "lack of respect" and UK fans with the "woe is me" mentality. The former relating to the constant paranoid thought of snubbing by media and the latter being the constant comparisons meant to make UL's progress seem worthless because they don't play in the SEC. Both are annoying but amusing at times.
August 27, 200719 yr Care to elaborate? It's just my personal opinion. Don't get me wrong, I hope Brohm goes #1 and Woodson goes #2 but just going by the few games I've seen him play in I'm not quite sold yet.
August 27, 200719 yr Not a card carring die hard for either team, both qb's just need to have "great" years and rack up a bunch of "w's" . Several L's for either and all this hot air stuff goes out the window.... Same ole story... Just win baby.....
August 27, 200719 yr I don't know about Woodson being the best QB in America. There are several good ones out there, but he deserves to be up there with Brohm, Henne, Booty, etc. And as far as saying he won't be a good NFL QB, I really don't see a good reason as of right now to say he won't. He could be a bust, but right now hes looking great as a prospect.
August 27, 200719 yr As a college QB heck no. As a pro QB, I don't see it. I think theres no doubt that he is already a success in the College game. He is one of the best QBs in the country. Now I dont know about a Pro career. I think he could get drafted but I think this season will have a huge impact on his success at that level. Yoter

August 27, 200719 yr I don't think he is overrated, but I do believe he should expect to have a good season. Woodson makes great decisions and thats why he doesn't have too many interceptions, he doesn't force it, but he does have descent arm strength.
August 27, 200719 yr This board is dominated by UL fans :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:
August 27, 200719 yr but he deserves to be up there with Brohm, Henne, Booty, etc. ONE good year and he deserves accolades like that???? Easy pal....If he has the same type of year this year, then we'll talk.
August 27, 200719 yr Isn't it ironic. Don't you think??? A little too ironic, yeah I really do think.
August 28, 200719 yr A little too ironic, yeah I really do think. It's like Raaaaiiiiinnnnnn on your wedding day. And to answer the question in this thread he is neither.
August 28, 200719 yr There are far more UL football fans who come on here ranting and raving than UK fans.
