August 28, 200719 yr I don't get the big deal.....Both Young and Woodson are very recent African-American QBs that are the same size. That's the reason I think he chose Young, but that's JMO.
August 28, 200719 yr Figure I'd put it out there... UL 9-24 231 3 0 Tex St 13-20 197 3 1 Ole Miss 22-34 293 3-0 Florida 26-37 210 1-0 C Mich 20-32 266 4 1 USC 18-31 289 1-1 LSU 14-37 151 0-1 Miss St 19-28 284 3 1 Georgia 23-32 204 2 2 Vandy 29-42 450 4 0 ULM 25-35 359 3 0 Clemson 26-39 282 1 0
August 28, 200719 yr He is also the same size as Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, etc. Uh-oh, I'm comparing him to them too. Watch out...

August 28, 200719 yr Woodson is Woodson. He doesn't have anything in common with any of those guys, good or bad, for you to say the NFL scouts are wrong about him. Man, you are really struggling (reaching) in this thread... Go look at post #7. Never said the scouts were wrong. Said if the line is good, he will have another solid year. Some of you guys are throwing around some wild stuff because the experts you so love to hate have made one of your guys a new hot name. Take it in stride. He's a big, strong arm QB coming off a good year with a very tough road ahead. If he travels said road well, he'll be a high pick. Pretty simple...
August 28, 200719 yr  I started to post the same thing, but realized it wasn't worth the time... UT, USC, USC. Need more???
August 28, 200719 yr UT, USC, USC. Need more??? Thanks for the history lesson. So they went to big-time schools....why does that matter? I guess Brohm is going to be a bust....I mean UofL isn't know for producing top notch NFL QBs....
August 28, 200719 yr Can a mod edit post #80 to read "I do, and so do the NFL scouts. Woodson is a prototypical NFL QB, and the same size as Ryan Leaf." The original wording of the post has GT on tilt. Thanks in advance.

Then throw in 20-28 for 299 and 3 td's and 0 picks for the Clemson game.

Ok, another simple question...what would you say his size is relative to that of Vince Young...
August 28, 200719 yr Impressive. :walk: So name me the last big time pro style QB that wasn't from an elite team. Peyton, Brady, Carson are the top 3. UT, USC and UM have a decent reputation. The comparable Vince Young won a title at Texas. There are superstars and busts of the same size up and down the line. He's as big as Vince Young. Awesome. I'm sure the grandkids will love that one...
August 28, 200719 yr Ok, another simple question...what would you say his size is relative to that of Vince Young... He's the same size as Young. Too bad he has very few of his skills...
August 28, 200719 yr UT, USC, USC. Need more??? And do you want a better list? Dan Marino, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Bledsoe, etc.
