Featured Replies

I don't think he will doing hard time, probably a country club prison or they will isolate him like Paris Hilton.

I think you're correct. That whole 'special treatment' deal really burns my behind.

This is a far cry from his earlier statement that he was "eager to clear his good name..."

Quite the flip-flop, that...

I thought the same thing.

It effectively quashes his NFL career, as well. I jsut can't understand making millions of dollars to play a sport and still feeling the need to be involved in something that would only make thousands at most. Craziness!
I don't mean this to sound racist, but I did hear one (black) comedian ask, "How many millions of dollars does it take to leave the ghetto?"

I hope he serves the max and never plays again. How can someone be so cruel to dogs?

True statement. I love dogs, and just don't see how someone could watch them go at eachother.

I can already see him serving less than a year and getting released on good behavior. :irked:

Apparently more than we will ever know because so many athletes coming from that life, never seem to leave it behind...AI, Pac Man, Vick, Ray Lewis...the hits just keep on coming.

You think maybe all these single parent homes are not the best thing for young people???

Aaaand Chris Redmon moves up the depth chart!

Under federal sentencing guidelines, a portion of his sentence will be reduced, and he will serve a portion and serve the remainder in some sort of halfway facility.

Between Goodell and a collaboration of owners agreeing not to bring him back, I believe his career is over.

Give credit to Vick for not dragging this thing to trial.

It's just a CYA tactic...

If he didn't, he could've had many more charges added. I'm not sure 'credit' sit he right word. 'Smart attorney's', may be better...

Could be right. I'm just glad that I don't have to sit through 10 months of SportsCenter reporting- "Today in Richmond, new evidence was shown in the Michael Vick trial."

Did anyone else just hear that idiot Ray Buchannan? He was on ESPN, basically saying that Vick was in the situation he was in because of his high profile name, and that it was only a he said, she said case against him.

Give credit to Vick for not dragging this thing to trial.
But I was looking forward to all those nifty sports celebrity trial sayings:

"If the dog don't bite, you cannot indict."
