July 28, 200719 yr The bulk of Barry's HR's were during what is being called the "Steroid Era". That means a vast majority of other players, including pitchers, were juiced. Barry Bonds is one of the best ball players in the history of the game. Good luck and GO BARRY!
July 28, 200719 yr Everyone loves to call Barry a steroid freak... then those same people are glued to the t.v. during each at bat to make sure they don't miss baseball history. Very interesting. I certainly am not:sleep: , not going to be able to avoid seeing it on every replay on every news/station anyway.

July 28, 200719 yr Don't like him, don't hate him. When he does break this record, just remember it will be tainted. He and others have taken baseball down an ugly road. I just wish that baseball was a little more assertive in their drug testing/monitoring in the past. Then we probably would have never had this debate.
