Has anyone seen the movie yet?

I went last night.

The first 45 minutes or so were hilarious... everyone was rolling. Last 30 minutes not as good, but overall I would give it a 7 out of 10.

I saw it last night. It was pretty good, but I think my expectations were so high that it couldn't live up to them. 7 outta 10 also.

I am taking my little brother to see it Monday night... It's a promise I made to him a few years ago when they were still rumoring it.

I love the show, but unfortunately I thought the movie was a bit of a disappointment. Not very funny. About equivalent to a later season episode stretched out to 85-90 minutes. Nothing worth making a movie about...

No interest at all.....From what I've heard, it's a big disappointment.

Good movie, my sister is a Simpsons FREAK. She has seen every episode at least 3 times. She thought it was a disappointment. However I LOVED it, and I rarely watch the show.

What I have gathered from people at the theatre, which was packed, is that if you watch the show religiously then you will be saddened, if you rarely watch it then you will love it.

I saw it, and I liked it. I'm not a HUGE simpsons fan...but it was good.

I seen it on opening day and I thought it was really good, not great. I think, like others that my expectations were a little high, but I will still buy the movie when it comes out on DVD...:D

What about Marge's potty mouth??? :sssh:

I saw it with my girlfriend earlier today and she's not much of a Simpsons fan but we both loved it.

^^ It for sure caught me off guard.

We plan to go see it and then make our own discusion.

I just saw it last night, and as a huge Simpson freak, I was somewhat dissappointed, but as having LOW expectations (the previews just weren't the classic Simpson moments for me so much as the desperate-for-a-quick-laugh), I came away with a few more laughs than I expected.

"Not interested in seeing it."

That was my vote.

Overhyped but I didn't think it was awful. I wish they would have shown the other characters more, such as Mr. Burns.
