:dancingpaToday is a Happy Day for the Tater!!!!!

We had a Doctor visit today for the Tot's nerve damage to his left leg. The last visit there was no indication that the nerves would heal. Today when the Doctor's at UK did the test on his leg, it is showing signs of life returnign to his nerves on his left leg/foot!!!!

In the last few days he has been able to actually lift his left foot about a half an inch!!! This is something we never knew would ever happen again. The foot will never again be 100%, but maybe in another year or so he can play basketball again. He has grown from 5'3 to 5'9 since May. I think the Doctors may have added a couple extra inches to the titanium rods in his femurs!!!!

Look out Kentucky if the Tot turns out to be a 6'6 point guard!!!!

Thank you all for your encouraging words for the Tot.

BirdsFan, OldRambler, and Rebel K. The Tot remembers your words very fondly.

The Tot met Birdsfan at the Lincoln Highlands game, he would really like to meet you also OldRambler, as the Tater would also.:ylsuper:

Hope he continues to improve TS.

Oldrambler would love to meet you both as well Tater (and Tot) :thumb:. Maybe we will someday. As for the news.....:dancingpa:dancingpa.

I am sure that he will work hard to rehab and with a father that cares as you do he cannot lose. :ylsuper: I think that I can speak for all of the Raceland crew here in "Ramblerville" that prayers will continue for the Tot and keep us posted, again - great news.:thumb:

Great to hear that Tater Tot is doing better, I am sure he will continue to recuperate, and will as good as new in not time, and ready for basketball. Prayers continue from the Ram family.

Thanks for the update Tater. It is great news that your son continues to improve.

Tater - It's always fun to see what God can do when you least expect it! Everything hapens how and when it does for a reason. I'm so glad to hear that The Tot has been blessed with this sign of recovery. I'm sure he will work hard, and do whatever necessary to hold up his end of the deal.

Looking forward to more news about his progress. Keep us posted! :thumb:

Rocking good news.:thumb: The best of luck to the Spudmeister going forward.

Excellent news! How amazing the God we serve is! He has worked through the Doctors and through himself and your son's recovery is an inspiration. Your family will remain in my prayers.

Wonderful news! I was thinking about the Tot just the other day.

Great news Tater. I hope his recovery continues to speed along. There's no feelings as helpless as a parent than when you have a kid that is hurt or sick. You will all be in our prayers.

Great news! :ylsuper::ylsuper:
