July 18, 200719 yr Author No one is missing anything here. It is fairly obvious. The title of the thread, the cuts, the backtracking -imo all has been explained perfectly. :sleep:Backtracking?
July 18, 200719 yr Author But where could you ever get that ??  Yet another spin and still predictable. :jump: Your only finding them predicable when you add ideas that aren't included.
July 18, 200719 yr Your only finding them predicable when you add ideas that aren't included. On post #91....Yes as others have pointed out as well. On post 92..... I am not adding anything, just agreeing with anothers comment meant as a joke and pointing out your own comments. Whatever, I'm tired you win if you say so convince yourself of it and be happy.
July 18, 200719 yr So wait...First we can't gloat about a win over Wake, now they are Top OOC competition??? Make up your mind, you can't change it to better your arguement. OK, fine. UofL was held 11 points under their Big East average by a crappy OOC team. Make you feel better? I simply called all BCS teams top OOC competition. I don't think WF was all that great, but I don't think ND was either, but they both made BCS games.
July 18, 200719 yr I can respect almost every response but these kind. You want to attack the arguement, please do, that was why it was posted. You want to attack me, it makes me think you have a weak arguement. A. I don't care whether you respect my response or not. B. I was talking to the UK faithful that were getting all wound up when they had to know right off what direction this thread was heading in. C. You start off the thread with a list of reasons that SEC Defenses weren't very good than make this comment: NEVER did I say the SEC defenses are bad, they are the best in the nation. To be clear, while you didn't say that "SEC defenses are Bad" you most certainly intimated that in Post #1. Therefore, if you want to start a thread espousing the "truth about SEC defenses", begin it with a litany of reasons that SEC defenses are clearly over-rated, be prepared to have egg on your face when, in general, the SEC clearly has the best overall defenses in the country. Which, by the way, you circle back to about 80 posts later when you drop this bombshell: "...they are the best in the nation."

How do the facts make me crazy, laughable, or stupid? I didn't interpret any of those facts til 80 post later because I wanted people to make there own interpretation. If you read the post it explains how SEC defenses had more trouble with OOF offensive numbers than offenses from there own conference. Everyone always says that other teams couldn't be as offensively successful in the SEC. I'm showing that OOC conference teams had more success than many in conference foes, therefore that arguement isn't as strong.

Weak arguement anyway you put it, so basically your saying now the SEC offenses are weak??? Just trying to get your arguement straight...
July 18, 200719 yr ^ Seems to me that some people should worry about their own team and their own conference;) and winning that one (which imo they will not) instead of concentrating on other teams and other conferences. Bottom line is to start a thread on SEC defenses, do everything you can think of to cut them and then say it is the best defensive conference in the nation (all claims by the same person:eek: ) is laughable.

RRR was not doing everything he could to cut the SEC defenses down, he was simply pointing out the fact that teams from other conferences can be successful offensively, nothing more, nothing less.
July 18, 200719 yr Duke rushed for 201 yards vs. Alabama and 253 vs. Vandy...what is up with that? They lost those games by 16 and 17 respectively, but come on SEC...you can't be letting Duke roll up 200+ yards on the ground. It just ain't right.
July 18, 200719 yr Author Weak arguement anyway you put it, so basically your saying now the SEC offenses are weak??? Just trying to get your arguement straight...You (collectively) keep puting the word weak in the arguement. I don't say weak, bad, or inferior.

It's ok to let Duke roll up the yards as long as he doesn't give away the secret bean recipe.

That is your opinion :thumb: My opinion of what RRR was doing and his explanation of it is : b-o-l-o-g-n-a :walk: :walk:

July 18, 200719 yr Wow there is no way you honestly believe that. Feel free to point out anything he has said that shows different intentions.
