June 27, 200719 yr What kind of roid rage lasts an entire weekend? My bet (and I am no therapist or councellor by any means) would be that he found out his wife was cheating on him, and killed her. Then either had an emotional breakdown or a "roid rage" and killed his son. I have been to a few house shows and T.V. tapings and seen the way he acted with his son and it wasn't normal for his to use any violence whatsoever towards him. He taught him respect and discipline but thats everyday America. His actions toward Woman, (his wife, I can't remember her real name) was a different story:eek:
June 27, 200719 yr I wouldn't have a clue. Do you ? Nope. Just never heard of "roid rage" lasting longer than a short period. I don't think "roid rage" was the cause. BTW, why did he leave his work (WWE) to go home in the first place? Was he home on time off already? Anyone know?

Why or how he could kill his own child is beyond me. It sickens me to think about it.
June 27, 200719 yr After reading some of your thoughts and comments - What he did was wrong and there is no excuse for it and he has met his maker and will be judged. People battle depression/mental problems everyday, as I'm sure because of the statistics, some who are on these boards probably do and until you face what some of you call these "demons", you cannot, you do not, and will not ever and I repeat EVER know what it is like to live a life with thee problems. The most commonly available legal steroids are catabolic - meaning they tear down muscle and add fat - like Prednisone which almost everyone who has allergy's has taken - and has side effects that include - insomnia, euphoria and rarely mania. Long-term side effects include Cushing's syndrome, weight gain, osteoporosis, glaucoma, type II diabetes mellitus, and depression upon withdrawal. Add to the fact that he was on lord knows what prescription pain killers, anabolic steroids, HGH, or what else. So some of your comments are a little out of the way for me.....

I can not imagine for the life of me Chris Benoit will be put in the Hall of Fame. He would have been easily before, but he killed his wife and his son. Pete Rose can't get in baseball because he bet on games, there should 0% chance Chris Benoit will ever be in the hall of fame. Could you imagine the speaker having to induct a killer?

I have been pondering the same thing.....I think of roid rage as a quick, spontaneous burst of emotion, not a 48 hour event where remorse is shown in the midst of the actions.....could Benoit have had some deeper depression issues that no one knew about?
