The Big Ten and SEC go about four deep but after that none of those teams are much better than Cincy, USF, or Pitt. In the SEC only 4 teams out of Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Auburn and Arkansas are signifigantly better than UC, USF or Pitt? Maybe UK, USC and Alabama are comparative but all 6 of those are much better than the 3 you mentioned.

June 22, 200719 yr All games are important not just the two mentioned. A couple of losses prior to those games and the WVU & Rutgers games lose their luster. I would be concentrating on winning the first game before I began thinking of the remaing schedule.

If you want to count Arkansas as being significantly better then I think that is a stretch but I will grant you that one. Ok so out of twelve teams in the SEC you have 5 really good teams, compared to 3 out of 8 in the Big East. When you consider that there are two divisions of the SEC and not everyone has to play everyone else, I really don't see how much different it makes, pretty much the SEC schools will have to face 3 or 4 really good district rivals a year unless they are hosed by the league with a bad schedule, for a Big East team they are going to have to face either 2 or 3. And while one game can significantly change a season, I just don't think that you can write off a BCS conference because it is not the one you like.

Pitt has the talent to be better than they play but have poor coaching. But you SEC fans always act like you have to play the best in the SEC every year, but you don't, you have divisions and you don't play all the hard ones, for every LSU and Auburn there is a Vandy and Ole Miss.
