June 26, 200719 yr What is your list? This thread exemplifies the inablilty of UK fans to come to terms with the growth of the Louisville program. We are that important and that good. Calm down. I just don't see both games being among the 10 most important games. I give Rutgers little to no chance of winning at UL. I don't see that as a top 10 game. And the Alabama games probably won't be competitive. The only reason they are on there is because of Saban. I really dont know what more you want from me. I believe UL has become a perennial top 10 program now.

Coach Saban is a defensive coach and we also have a few guys who made All-SEC back. Kickers are back. All the preseason magazines mention that Coach Shula was weak in being tough enough on his kids and with Coach Saban that will change. I guarantee you things will change for us and we will be the most watched team this year.

But my point is all the flack Coach Saban got by changing his mind after talking with his wife and taking the Bama job. Funny, if someone else does that its OK. The ESPN talking heads on TV and radio shows are still bashing him. Media can't write anything positive, especially outside Alabama where the writers don't know all the facts. I see and hear things y'all will not get to see.

Bryant Denny stadium is large but their are other schools with stadiums that can hold 10,000+ more. And as far as TV. Last year Alabama could be seen on ESPN (2), CBS (5), ESPN+ (2) and ESPN GamePlan PPV (4). Some of those CBS dates were likely only regionally seen. Compare that to Notre Dame, they were on NBC (7), ABC (3), CBS (1), FOX (1) and CSTV (1). Sure Bama has a great fan base and following, but to say that they will be the most watched team this year is a bit of a stretch. Just look at the population of Alabama, do you really think that more people will watch Bama on TV than say Texas or Ohio State?

June 27, 200719 yr Strike...Yes....I didn't say anything about other schools. Sure they had great attendance too. nd is "media darlings" haven't won a bowl game since 1993. My point was how folks will be paying attention to us.
