Congrats to the Rams>

I know that Ballard, Male, Manual, X, and Fern Creek were there and all of those high schools have players on U of L's team. Besides Brian Brohm, who was the last Trinity player to play significantly for U of L? Greg Brohm? That's another thread.

I thought this was about 7on7 but to answer your question, Tydlacka.

how did franklin county do with a new qb at the helm?

FC did fine with QB's Jarboe and Thompson at the helm. Jarboe took most of the snaps carrying the flyers 3-0 into the tournament with wins over Holy Cross, a comeback win over E-Town, and a win over Emminince. In the finals Franklin county lost out to Tourney Champ Manual by 2 scores. The receivers and defense done well throughout the day. Hicks, Hogan, Meriwether, Proctor, and Metcalf all caught the ball well. SR receiver Gabe Jones is out with a hamstring injury.

A lot of Trinity players were taking part in the State Track Meet. Duttons, Phillips, Kelly, King, Radcliff, Van Wallegan etc..

Trinity players were all taking their SAT's. Remember, Trinity normally gets 2-3 weeks more practice than most local teams from the prior year.

I am happy to hear that Trinity is the only school that takes SAT's and runs in the state track meet. Once again, why wasn't Trinity there? Henry Clay was there with 1 less week than THS. Are you scared of Manual?

I believe that the poster meant the ACT's, and no, Trinity isn't the only school taking them. However, the ACT is required at Trinity, not optional. If I remember correctly, all Juniors must have taken it before entering their senior year. Maybe that's the difference?

I would suggest that Trinity uses the off season to prepare for the next year in the manner they deem best. So far, it seems to be working. I'm pretty sure that schoolyard taunts on BGP won't cause Coach Beatty to change his tactics.

I imagine because they were spread out everywhere...regardless it doesn't matter....the cream always rises to the top..and that has been Trinity more than not, lately.
