June 1, 200719 yr Wasn't it the other way around? If you remember the legendary call of Johnny Most, you know it was reversed. "There's a steal by Bird....." http://youtube.com/watch?v=43DrapEn5QA
June 1, 200719 yr Get back to me IF they win the series... Exactly... :thumb: His performance would not be necessarily forgotten, but minimized if they do not close out the Pistons. It sounds a lot better and will have more historical significance to say that "James' performance lifted the Cavs to the finals" than saying, "James' performance gets the Cavs to the brink of the finals."
June 1, 200719 yr Get back to me IF they win the series... Do you think this next game is a trap game for the Cavs? There seemed to be a lot of energy and emotion spent in game 5.
June 1, 200719 yr Do you think this next game is a trap game for the Cavs? There seemed to be a lot of energy and emotion spent in game 5. The Cavs want no part of Game 7 in MoTown...
June 1, 200719 yr The Cavs want no part of Game 7 in MoTown... Agree with that. So you think Cavs win tomorrow?
June 1, 200719 yr No... I hope you're wrong, I am not an NBA fan at all but, I have been interested in this series and am pulling for the Cavs. Maybe watching Lebron is taking me back to when we watched da bulls and MJ going against the Pistons. I'd say Lebron's performance last night was very MJesque.
June 1, 200719 yr Don't forget his defensive stops and steals late in the game and OT. He was playing both ends of the court. Amazing performance. I was looking for someone to mention this. The top 5 listed was plays. Lebron had to make play after play after play after play on both ends of the court. For me, the top individual performance. Not one of HIS PLAYS tops those 5 but as individual performances, I would put this right there when Magic stepped into Kareem's shoes as 1 and Lebron's as 2. Difference being the finals.
June 2, 200719 yr The Cavs have proved they can win in Detroit. I'm sure they don't wanna play back in Mo town in a game 7 but I doubt they're really that worried if they have to. They'll treat it like any other game.
June 2, 200719 yr Jordans 63 againts the Celtics. Magic Johnson filling in for Kareem. Lebron went off, but I wouldnt rank it as high as with Jordan and Magic. Magics came in the finals, and Jordan put 63 on one of the best teams of that decade.

Magics came in the finals, and Jordan put 63 on one of the best teams of that decade. Jordan's team lost the game. I think that's a big diffference.
June 3, 200719 yr Dead horse, I know, but back to the point. Lebron did score 25 of his teams last points, 29 of the last 30 and this coming in two OT's. Thus meaning he basically got his team into overtime, through overtime(s), and won the game for the Cavs in the process. That has to go a long way to get some top 10 cred.
June 3, 200719 yr It was really really really good but was it GREAT? I'm just not so sure it's in the top 10.
