June 1, 200719 yr Author It has to be up there, HAS TO BE! At worst top 10. Lebron practically beat an entire Pistons team by himself. He was hitting shots that seemed almost impossible to hit, and even when he was getting murdered (without even getting the calls) he didn't act like Rasheed and wine, but rather got back down the floor and played D'. He controlled the game. In fact, he WAS the game. I mean I was in awe each time he touched it. Going behind the back, stepping back, you name it, 23 was doing it. For those of you saying it was just an alright performance, please get the wool unstretched from your eyes. And oh yeah, the game was in the D'. And oh yeah, they were basically doubling him up or trapping him each trip down the floor. Lebron silenced the critics "for good" tonight, and proved why he is the "KING!!" :thumb: I haven't seen a single post that said he did alright??? Everyone agrees that it was an amazing performance. Some just don't think that it is in the top 5 or even top 10.:thumb:
June 1, 200719 yr What got me was in the interview room the press kept asking him if he was suprised at how easy they gave him the lane. It wasnt like they moved out of his way. He was extremely good and the thing is when any real posibility of points beside Lebron was out of the game he completely took over and earned his points.

June 1, 200719 yr I'll man up and admit when I'm wrong. A couple of weeks ago I said that Detroit would win in 5. LeBron has stepped up since Hughes went down, and his Game 5 was the stuff of legend. Top 5 all time playoff performance? Probably not, but not far behind.

June 1, 200719 yr Eastern conference finals on the road against a team playing in their 5th consecutive conference finals. Everyone knows he's either taking a fade away 22-26 footer or taking it straight to the basket against a very good defensive team, and Tayshaun is widely considered a great defensive player. He also had 9 boards and 7 assists even though he didn't pass in the OT's or late in the 4th quarter. His second best scoring option in this series is? I'd say it's top 5 of all time.
June 1, 200719 yr Definately isn't moving any of these down. I agree with Hammertime, had it been in the finals, and possibly a game 7 then it would be among these. "There's a steal by D.J. Passes to Bird. He lays it in!" That is one of my favorite memories of the NBA.
