Grimm threw the ball one time the whole season.

I saw that pass - it came late in the playoff game with Ashalnd. It was one to be proud of.

Tyler Jones - Russell

Heard that Toledo is recruiting him pretty hard right now. I also heard he has been invited to camps at UK, UofL and Michigan. At 6'1" 210-220 he is probably a better runner. Defense may be where he shines the most though. A tough kid and one of the strongest on the team.

For NewCath, if Ben Parr can stay injury free he'll be one of the best in the state. He has a rocket launcher attached to his arm. And he's not small, at 6'3 205, he can take a hit. If he's not, NC has two players capable of getting the job done, Wes Diehl or Robby Kues.

Clay County was the #1 passing team in Kentucky last year with close to 4,000 yards in the air. Zach Lewis will be a junior next year, returning with 2 of the top recievers in the state.

I'd forgotten about the "eskimo"...a real cool headed QB. Heard he's a real threat via land or air! Kues used to have a pet reciever in the FTJFL. Any chance Chris Grosser gives up soccer and plays FB? Good speed and hands!!

Mr Ferguson at Eastern fine dual threat QB Mr Hynes at Fern Creek lets not forget the 1800 yards he had as a freshman. Saturday he started off slow but got better every game, FC learning a new system and only a few days of practice, by game three he was on the money and showing the touch. I was MOST impressed however by Mr Harness at Manual his game has grown by leaps and bounds since last year.

If the transfer goes through for Cody Reardon of Covington Holy Cross he very well could be the #1 QB in KY. For New Richmond he completed 65% of passes, 1,400 yds with 11 TD's in 06 as a Jr., as a soph. in 05 he also had 1,400 yds passing.

Let's Not forget Mr Zoeller from Saint X is a returning starter on a team with quite a few weapons on the receiving end! He is 27-4 in his 3 years not including the 14-1 his sophomore year on varsity.

The Hynes kid at Fern Creek I was speaking of had 1800 yards and 15 TD's as a freshman by your standards he must be a diety

The spelling is deity. 1,800 yds is great!!! Great job!!! He must be diety (deity). I hope the kid your speaking about is successful and has a great season. I like to see ALL kids do well. Even if they are the opponent.

Whether he played in 8 games (no) or 11 (no again); Cox of Mason County is a physical specimen who may very well be playing D-1 next year.

The question is whether or not he will have anyone who can catch the ball - particularly the long ball. I look for increased use of the tight end this year; and Richie will put up big numbers running the ball.

hmmmmm I guess my grammer school rule failed me! I thought it was "I" before "E" except after "C" or if it sounds like "A" as in neighbor and weigh. I thought it looked wrong but said it to myself twice and went with "ie" !

That particular kid grew up playing for a good buddy of mine. If he keeps his head on and doesn't get hurt he will be a great one. Threw a 75 yarder against Meade County his first varsity start and ran off the field like it was no big deal. When I was 14 I would have messed my pants if they told me I was starting at QB and in that situation.

Mr. Zoeller gets my vote even though the receiving end hasn't really been tested. The records mentioned look awesome. The new stadium should bring a flawless season for the tigers.

10 and 0 as an '04 Freshman

+

8 and 1 as an '05 JV Sophomore

+

14 and 1 as an '05 Varsity Sophomore

+

9 and 3 as an '06 Varsity Junior

=

32 and 5 in 3 years!

Now that's impressive!

Boone Goldsmith from Lawrence should have a great year with the new offense they are installing this summer.

I was also looking for good things from Mahan from Ashland but havent heard anything recent on him.

JK Ratliff would have a good year if JC would ever throw the ball. Grimm in the flat and coming out of the backfield and Dials as a big TE would be a great help too.
