I agree with you on Ravi Moss, he was a walk on that did some good things.

To me one of the most under appreciated players was Roger Harden.

Marquis was a senior in 2003 but had only played 3 seasons due to academic and knee issues coming into his freshman season, and his freshman year was not a redshirt year. He could have played one more season if he had graduated in 4 years but did not. He "left" UK early but never had the same type of NBA potential as the others. I wouldn't classify him in the same boat as Azibuke or Morris by any means.....

Ford might not have been heavily recruited out of high school, but remember he was Big 8 freshman of the year at Missouri before transferring to Kentucky. He wasn't exactly an unknown.

That ship was righted under Pitino though. Scotty had some issues and Pitino was the coach that got him back on course. After his freshman year he maintained close to a 4.0 gpa.

I think a year of working hard labor instead of playing basketball for a living had something to do with it too.

Anthony Epps, Travis Ford, Allen Edwards, Erik Daniels, and Chuck Hayes! With Epps being most underrated. People forget that at the start of each year he was the backup PG and earned his way into the starting lineup!

Saul Smith was certainly underappreciated, but we all know what that was about.
