June 20, 200719 yr I can't disagree with you HT, he's due for a rough stretch. He's been solid as of late but it's hard to keep up that trend when you don't have flame thrower stuff as a closer.
June 20, 200719 yr Reds win their obligatory one of the series tonight:banana: Back to the "Bears" today:cry:
June 20, 200719 yr Welsh just blasted Thom. Never thought I'd hear that... I was long gone by then...details?
June 20, 200719 yr Realizing of course that it means nothing, but the Reds are 1-8 on the last 9 Wednesdays. That is ugly. Doesn't look good at improving with Haren on the hill today. Where is that mid-week focus? Fire Narron...
June 20, 200719 yr Awesome game to watch. I was up at a bar in Mt. Adams and loved every minute. So was i!
June 20, 200719 yr 2 moves that were puzzling to me last night. Homer coming out and Ross coming in. I know it worked out but had the pen blew that one last night I don't think Narron goes to Seattle. Also If you insist on 3 catchers use them. Moeller should have been the one coming in not Ross. I'm sure Ross was thrilled when he was told to throw on the "tools" with Moeller hiding on the end of the bench. Javy had a good game and should get a little more time behind the plate. I just don't understand what Moellers role is on this team. Send him down, get another hitter up here (Votto?) until Freel comes back.
June 20, 200719 yr Good guys win 5-2. Saint Homer is 2-0. I love being wrong... I'm hoping this is what we'll continue to see but second time around the league will really show us. He does hide the ball REALLY well. I think that fastball sneaks up on guys...
