And I was never really against firing Jerry, I just wanted assurance it wasn't going to be the same situation that got us Jerry in the first place. How about Billy Hatcher???

The guy is a subpar manager. Castelleni signing him to an extension in itself is comical, before the entire season played out. There is no rhyme or reason to even think of hitting Castro there. None. Hamilton has already juiced one and been on one other time. Castro is a fielder not a hitter. Hamilton could hit a homer, work a walk then you have Gonzo and Ross potentially coming up. I sure would take my chances with Hobbs than Castro. I wonder how the rest of the team saw that move? If they had any respect for the guy in his ability to manage, he sunk it right there. That move there is a fireable offense.
