Track The Reds...

Griffey has also signed about 1,000 baseballs that are being sold with the money being donated to charities around Seattle.

I want Griff to end his career as a Red as I've said many times before. But if he were to be traded, I hope it would be Seattle.

A "Grif-fey" chant has started here now, nearly two hours before the game is going to begin. Yeah, it's gonna be nuts tonight.

Got a little misty eyed watching the tribute video on the pregame. Unreal how good he was back then...

The Seattle media asked Griffey that if he was to retire at the end of this year, if he would go into the Hall as a Mariner or as a Red. He responded, "Don't I have 5 years to decide that?"

:D

An hour after it started? ;)

Awesome video tribute...

If Feierabend doesn't throw 5 straight fastballs Jr's first at bat, he may not make it out alive...

What speaks volumes to me is how excited former teammates Jay Buhner & Edgar Martinez have been for Jr. to return to town.

Even if it did (and obviously it will not), he's still going in as a Mariner. He made his name (and saved the franchise) and became Player of the Decade while a Mariner.

No chance he will not be a Mariner.

I agree.

I am feeling a little deprived. I haven't got to watch a reds game all week. Maybe thats a good thing.
