Track The Reds...

Agreed. Its as much about perception ("he doesn't hustle", "he's slow", etc) as performance with Dunn. With Griffey, it was more frustration at his inability to get/stay on the field.

If they did polls like they do for the President, Dunn's approval ratings are at an all-time low.

When Dunn leaves and I say when....It will be the same song/dance, but a different player name, that will get the blame.

Why is he....Why can't he....He's not....He's the absolute....Sometimes, fans watch to criticize and can't appreciate, what they have.

I wonder how many Reds season ticket holders, also attend UK Basketball games....:sssh:

Not to make this a P & R thread:sssh: ;) , but saw on the news that Congress' approval ratings were lower than the President's and Dunn's.:D

CTR...

Talked to Hamilton, Freel and Bray. Hamilton said he'd been feeling weak for a couple of days and went to the doctor and had bloodwork done on Wednesday. Yesterday was the first day he felt dizzy and he didn't want to come out of the game, but didn't want to hurt the team. Freel underwent tests today and is now allowed 'light aerobic activity' which today consistend of stints on the exercise bike. HE said his headaches are gone and felt fine during his riding session. Billy Bray said he's resumed playing catch and expects to get some action in Dayton soon.

Great news regarding Freel, would be nice to see him back in the line up after the All Star Break.

Majewski sent back down and Salmon brought back up.

The wheels on the bus go round and round, too bad it's been stuck in mud for some time.

You gotta freaking lay out for that Griff. Good god.

You gotta freaking lay out for that Griff. Good god.

Griffey showing on back to back plays why he is truly deserving of a spot on the All Star team.

You gotta freaking lay out for that Griff. Good god.

Is it worth Griffey risking going on the DL for one run?

You gotta freaking lay out for that Griff. Good god.

With his history of injuries, I have zero problem with him not laying out for a single that drove in 1 run in the 1st inning of a game against the Texas Rangers.

I will give up that run rather than risk him being out for the next 2 months with some sort of injury.

You know the fans enjoys the way Freel plays and he made a nice catch (with Hopper's help) but he very well might be out for the rest of the season. Was that catch worth Freel being out the rest of the year or at least the time he was out?

Good to see the Rangers are having NO PROBLEMS with that glare above the batters eye. Good to know it only effects the team that faces it everyday.

So he should never dive for another ball?

If he doesn't think he's going to catch it, there is no reason to dive. The risk in his case completely outways the positive.

So he should never dive for another ball?

I didn't think Jr. had a chance for the ball to begin with. I think needs to pick and chose when he dives for the ball given the situation and how much he has to extend himself. I surely don't feel this one was of the situaitons.
