Considering Eastern Ky is considered the most racist area, it shouldn't come a surprise since OTS was african american. I'm in no way saying the people in here are racist, but I'm also going to tell you a large majority of the people I heard talk bad about him also used racial slurs against him.

I also have heard a lot of racial slurs against Tubby and the players. To date with my travels to the Eastern part of the State I have not found a Tubby fan since day one. I am not saying their isn't some I just have never run across one. I am sure there is a lot of Tubby supports in that part of the State, IMO they are the minority.

I didnt vote. I didnt support Tubby and I also didnt dislike they guy. I didnt like his style of play all that much but I also thought that he was an outstanding person and was doing the best he could.A very classy guy in my opinion.At the end of the day I just wanted Kentucky to win ball games and do well in the NCAA tourney. No more, no less. I'm from Eastern KY and I've heard the racist remarks about him from many people. I dont think it really had that much to do with him being black, that was just another reason for people to complain. Also I can with much confidence say that the ignorant people that did use racial slurs against him were not the type of people that would belong to this site. Reason one, many people who made those remarks most likely didnt have the money to own a credit card. Two, its hard for people that ignorant to learn to use a computer.
