IN NO WAY WILL I BE LEAVING THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA would have been an ideal answer from a coach not planning on going anywhere, but thats just my opinion, what do I know?
But why would he do that, while he's basically in contract negotiations with Florida?

He shouldn't have to deal with media asking him about the UK job while he is still in season, and trying to defend his title...He shouldn't have to say anything regarding the matter, and what he did say, IMO, was appropriate.

Thats what the media gets paid to do, if you were a reporter, you would have asked the same question:walk:

We all remember one coach that said that a couple years ago...

Nobody has mentioned it yet on here, but there is a brand spanking new $30 million dollar facility, and its got a new and unused office for somebody. I would call that some leverage. I say put Donavans name on the door.

Don't know how credible this is, but I've heard that Donavon, Few, and Gillispie have all expressed interest in the job.....IMO Gillispie will be the man for the job, but only time will tell.

And besides, isnt hope what makes us get up everyday? Would you want to get out of bed if you knew without doubt things would never get better?:p

Get busy living or get busy dying, is what my friend Andy Duframe use to say.

I don't think the next coach will like having another name on the door. :p

I for one hope that Billy D is offered the job. If he takes it great, if he doesn't let's move on.

If he is offerd the job I think he will seriously consider taking it.

Whomever takes over the UK job will have my full support.

Same here as long as their names are not Bruce Pearl or Thad Matta.

As much as I think it would be a terrible idea for UK, I would support Cal just because he CAN coach and recruit, but he's too shady for my liking.

espn just said that billy gillespie should be a priority for the kentucky job, because he is a hot new coaching prospect with lots of energy. imo i hope he has teflon for skin. if he comes here he will need it. whoever comes here will need it.

Billy D's reaction to the question was what I would expect any level headed coach to say. I could have told you what Billy's reaction would have been before I read it. I would imagine he has his mind on Butler and winning his 2nd national championship rather than the Kentucky job as any good coach should.
