Seriously!!

I would love to walk up to Billy D and say...Billy...pal...your a decent looking guy...PLEASE lose that look you got going with your hair!!!

The rumor I'm hearing is that Billy will be the next coach, the deal is basically done, and he'll be paid around $3 million a year.

This is second hand, but from some people who have ties to the program. We'll see.

Guys WAKE UP..... Donovan will not come to Kentucky. The media pressure this week will be a distraction to him and his FL team and he will come out and say he is NOT a candidate..... Why would any very succussful coach, who is on the verge of a NCAA repeat, what to go to KY with all of the fish bowl media and fans.... Florida has much nicer weather and the girls are prettier....... Time to go to NEXT on the list.......

Florida isn't even done playing, and Billy D is already the new coach at UK...Nice...

Does that mean an Alumni?

That's what I was thinking.

Listen if, and it's a big IF, Billy wins back to back NC's at Florida, he ain't leaving.

Does that mean an Alumni?

No, former athletic deparment people.

Again though, its second hand and I don't know the orignial sources personally.

You really just sit there and make stuff up don't you?

Ok lets see, he could have said when asked about the UK job "I am happy at Fla. and I am not going anywhere" but he did not. This is what he said" I am here to coach my team and win another national championship" That is fact. He has posponed discussions about his contract extension and riase from earlier this season. That's a fact. He said in post game interview after the last game that he was disappointed over the lack of gator fans in the stands. That is fact. Football is king in Florida, not basketball. That a fact.He has a clause in his contract that he could leave for UK. That's a fact. So just what part of this is made up? I did not say he was coming to Uk , but I did say he will give it a look.

I heard that that they will also change the name of the school to Billy university...

You guys are funny...

Can anyone get any proof on this supposed "UK clause." I'd really like to see it...

No proof because, it is not true. It is called wishful thinking... :sssh:

I mean yeah, I've seen some radical statements by some UK fans....This whole UK clause in the Kid's contract takes the cake though...

My guess is that he uses the UK offer to negoiate a big fat long term contract extention. I also voted no he is not leaving the gators.
