Cov Cath has a lot they can improve on and the talent to do so in my opinion. It was 38-7 with about 8:00 left in the fourth and the Birds were working in backups. It was pretty darn lopsided, especially after the 21-0 3rd quarter. Covington Catholic has protected the QB all season much better than they did last night. They gave up 2-3 sacks with a 3 man pressure last night , he took a beating (kudos to him for fighting as long as he did.)

This! I thought Highlands looked a good amount better than CCH. Could CCH beat Highlands, maybe one out of twenty. Again, the Birds looked superior and they probably had more gas in the tank if they needed it.

OK, I didn't know about the CCH scores in Q4 coming against backups.

As to the 21-0 Q3, I guess CCH came out of the halftime locker room "flat" ... 🫣

Kind of curious about this post. Why does Lorenzen become the difference if wet? How about putting Kremer and Lorenzen in the backfield together with Armstrong and take your chances. Any of the 3 a

Prayers to the Colonel players tonight, I'm hearing a Senior starter lost his Father unexpectedly last night. Heavy stuff for those boys.

Sounds like JV blueboys came to prove the rivalry still exist! I know for a fact that it exist at least from the CCH hat wearing parent/fan I stood next to last night on the Highlands side. He was very theatrical with his cheering/jeering through out first half. He was on the refs quite a bit, something about holding. And he yelled several times for why Highlands wouldn't run to #57 side. That was kinda weird. Not as weird as when MVP Colt Kremer scored. Gotta love the passion. But not the theatrics! Not sure what happened to him 2nd half, but it was entertaining to say the least. Or not!

I'm going to say rivalry still exist.

Just sayin!

There was a 4 down series late in the game where Lorenzen hit the CC QB 4 times in a row where I thought he may not not get back up. 3 times it was their starter, last time was the backup. Tough dudes . They took a beating.

Sounds like another case of the CCH don't worry about the first 2 quarters of football, we'll adjust at the half and get back at them blues.

Agree with the disturbing theatrics, the hand to body gestures is concerning for someone of his age especially directing them to an 16 yo.

There probably is a very good reason he was standing in the Highlands crowd and not with his own fans.

I know a lot of CovCath alumni and have tremendous respect for their program and like wise and they would probably have run the guy out of the place out of embarrassment for their program.
