Michigan misses both the first FT in their last 21 and UConn has life.

Michigan improves now to 2-6 in the finals with a great 6 game run and gives the Big 10 its first title since 2000.

I enjoyed watching Michigan.  The length, effort, and talent impressed me all year.

Both teams run great offensive sets. Ball movement, motion, pound the offensive glass.

Defensively, Michigan's switching man D is impressive.

For those who don't know, Dusty May spent a season as an assistant at Murray State. Not confirmed, but it is assumed that all of his coaching acumen and skills were developed that season. The Racers produce the best, and May winning confirms this yet again.

That title game was a UFC match with a basketball. U Conn made it as physical as it can get and the officials swallowed their whistles. I know they called a good amount of fouls, but they could easily have called twice as many as they did. I liked how Michigan gave it right back when the officials let it go that way.
