I am a big believer in Dylan Courtney at QB and the bigs and TE/LB group. This is a really talented team for KY 4A and the expectations should be high.

@CCHFC and @theguru which 2 are you seeing as the losses?…….I happily and confidently reiterate my earlier post that We will beat Elder.  
 

I think we are 9-1 with a loss to either Indy Cathedral or a possible upset loss to Beechwood, but I do not see the latter happening.

Courtney is about to blow people away with what He is going to do this year.  Think AJ Mayer, but just off that.  And trust me when I say we will be way way faster the Defensive Backfield and Offensive skills than anyone is thinking/gameplanning for.  And our team speed will be better than last year.

Our front 7 will be deadly.  We have not had the combination of size and speed and experience in that group in years.  The athleticism at LB will be off the charts. 
 

Our opportunity right now is who will be the bell cow to tote the rock….it may be committee to start.  Cash Meyer and the Sophomore, Miller will get the first crack….and Miller is not built and does not run like a Sophomore.   9-1 and I’ll stand by it…..gotta be a Keg half full Colonel!!!

I don’t think Kaden Estep at QB for Elder going against an inexperienced secondary in week 2 will go well. 

Highlands is probably a coin flip and Cov Cath hasn’t beaten them in a couple years. 

Ryle despite losing Jacob Savage and some really good players, still whipped Cov Cath on the line of scrimmage last year and has beat Cov Cath the last two years. 

Cathedral has a bunch of talent plus a really good coaching staff and is a 2 hour bus ride away. Going 2-2 for a team that’s ‘up’ feels right. 

For people who weren’t following back then, AJ Mayer is Michael’s older brother. He was a dual threat 3 star recruit that went to Miami OH around a decade ago, had over 50 total TDs his senior year and obviously a total stud high school player. I think Courtney is very similar as well with his size, athleticism and arm strength. 

 

 

I think CCH is in every game this year. The games against talented squads on the schedule- Ryle, Elder, Highlands, Beechwood, and Indy Cathedral will be close scores with the Blue Colonels in the hunt to possibly win each game. All 5 games could be a win or a loss IMO. 5 possible wins/losses/combination of both making their overall record hard to predict. 

Regarding the uniforms- I do wish they brought back the old logo/unis. Classics. 

I wish we could get a crack at Boyle County at home come playoff time. Dennis Griffin Stadium would be rocking. The long drive for Boyle might help our chances too.

Johnny Lind has several offers now Colegate, EKU, Army and Leigh University! 

The latest just today…..Lind will be a nightmare for every team this fall!

To stick Lind and the Trenches, I am hearing really really good things about what is looking like the 1st Team O-Line…..fast, aggressive, with an attitude…..hearing the staff is very very happy where they are with that group…..
