Anyone hearing anything about this job? It’s really quiet

The job posting was taken off the website today so I would say they have chosen someone or close to choosing so maybe they announce a hire after Christmas break when school starts back up.

  • I'd be fine with Coach Wolfe. He said in interview he would see where God wants him to go and a lot of praying goes on at St. X.

  • Congrats Coach Wallace!  Thanks for all the memories.  Enjoy your retirement.

Just saw Brian Landis started following St. X accounts on X today. Guess we'll see soon if he's the coach or not.

Those are good indicators of at least being offered the job, possibly more.

President also likes head coaches with college coaching experience which Landis checks that box.

Landis it is. Saw on Twitter that Alpharetta is now open. What do the X folks think? Approve I’m sure but how long will Landis stay?

I think he brings a lot of energy and will do good job. No way to predict how long he will stay but guess will depend on if he still has interest in college or not. He's from Cincinnati so maybe could have interest at a program up there at some point.

What about Wolfe and/or Cantwell?  I thought X favored those guys. Were they not interested?

Heard Cantwell talked with X but then CAL gave him raise. Not sure about Wolfe.

St. X strength coach played LB at Georgetown College when Landis was DB coach there and a St. X teacher played with Landis at Georgetown College so he had a couple advocates that spoke well of him.

Does Nick Baisch look to leave X now at some point? Or did he just not like being a HC?
