Danny Woolley is probably another guy I'd be giving a call if I was Conner's AD.

Dan should definitely get a call.

No doubt in my mind he could straighten things out at Conner. His Beechwood pedigree speaks for itself.

From what I'm hearing, the Conner administration is doing what they can to convince Coach Rash to stay on.

If I'm AD at Conner I'm calling Kyle Niederman and hoping to make a deal. I'm not sure Niederman has any reason at the moment to make him inclined to leave one school-name-that's-also-a-first-name for another school-name-that's-also-a-first-name, but I'd at least be calling him and trying to get him interested in the move.

I’d give Bryson Warner a call too!! Wouldn’t hurt. He did a great job at Boone.

I am sure he is a good coach, but I wish one of these principals at a bigger school would take a chance on a younger, up and coming coach, that relates better to today's high school athlete and can breathe some fresh air into a program instead of recycling through the same group of previous head coaches.

Do you have any people like that in mind??

I mentioned earlier that I thought Chase Floyd should get the job. But, not specifically. I just know that there are quite a few coordinators in the area that would like to get a chance. I guess I was just publicly pulling for the first time potential head coaches to get their chance. ?

Lol, goes to show how closely I follow Thomas More football ?

I googled "Stellman Thomas More" and the article that popped said he is "entering his fourth season as the head football coach at Thomas More University during the 2020-21 academic year." I skimmed and misread that to say he is "entering his fourth season as the head football coach at Thomas More University after starting during the 2020-21 academic year."

1.) What has Stellman been up to since he left TMU?

2.) Who's TMU's head coach these days, anyway?

I believe he works for BSN Sports.

Chris Norwell is the head coach.  They just finished a rough 1 win season, winning their final game of the year.  They couldn't score this year, and couldn't stop anyone from scoring.  Other than that, I don't follow TMU much anymore either.  I'm sure recruiting there has to be difficult with their facilities being worse than most of the area high schools.

I don't think he coaches anymore .

In a number of open coaching threads this comes up. One it requires the powers that be have a hand on the pulse of HS football and that’s pretty doubtful. I don’t think most people that follow football could name many OCs/DCs in the area. Past opponents of who ever they follow they probably don’t much about other teams.

In the St X thread someone didn’t want a coach because they looked at how many passing attempts they attempt a game. The person didn’t even know what offense the school ran.

The profession needs young coaches. It needs young coaches willing to put in the time and learn all the things about running a program. Some people don’t want to wait or life happens.

Btw that team that got questioned by a St X fan just won state today.

He stated that would be the case when he took the job. Some were just holding out hope he would get the itch to give it a few more years.

I see.

He did the noble thing. Big respect here for coach Rash. The question I have, with the uptick for Ryle and Cooper's postseason success the last few years, can Conner draw the kids out for football like those two schools? You need a coach willing to recruit the hallway, shake hands and kiss babies at the local parade etc.

The question I have is Conner didn't have anyone on their staff that they felt could have taken the reigns?
