How many defensive TD's were scored in that game? Did any starters play in the second half? Did they throw the ball in the 4th quarter? Did all the other teams that beat the breaks off St. Henry run the score up and stat pad too? I think that game could have been 120-0 with a lot of stat padding if they wanted too. Look up the stats from their star players that game, please do and let me know how they stat padded!!!

Let me know the stat padding that went on in the 54 point win, you know, multiple touchdowns less than the precious Tigers.

So when the back up kids get in, should they just take a knee? Are those kids allowed to play hard? What about the back up to the back up kids? Should those kids not be allowed to play hard? I would say the starter played less than 20 plays of offense that game. I would say with the talent difference, it was hard to not score over a 100 points. And why are the Tigers so precious?

I think they could have broke the score board with their backups starting the game and then moving onto the reserves reserves.

Looks like Cook threw 22 passes and ran the ball 5 times....so there is 27. Just saying, Scott didn't let up. No need to. Everybody has the same 24 hours to get better or work at their craft.

But look at HC track record. You would'nt be surprised.

He inherited Turner, hired Owen, (can’t control that situation,) and then hired Franklin. 
 

Also, AD’s do not fire coaches. That’s an admins decision every single time.

AD has no say so in the decision making process at all? LSU's was stripped of making the decision due to his track record lol totally different situation there though.

Concur with everything you say, Al.  As best I could determine varsity passed 7 times of which 4 went for TDs.  They rushed 10 times and 4 went for TDs and had 2 interceptions, 1 for a TD.  JVs ran 10 plays, zero pass attempts and had 1 TD.  If you saw the game it was just a major disparity of a mature program vs an up and coming first year team.   But, St. Henry will build toward excellence quickly….maybe 3 or 4 more years and watch out.

Kind of defeats the purpose of an athletic director if they can't get rid of their own staff.  

For continuity sake and answering the above criteria some have said here. Aren't the 2 coordinators Young guys, still employed at the school as teachers, have connections to the community and have been coordinators at a 5A school. 

I would guess they would apply. Does having a connection to the last HC hurt their chances? Or do they get a clean slate?

I believe the Administration upheavals every couple of years probably didn't help the situation. Coach Fisk knows what he's doing and has been apart of some great staffs. I'm sure years at Holy Cross and Covington Catholic gave him insights to what a good Head Coach is supposed to look like.

I think the photo the school posted was more indicative of what they’re looking for. Maybe I read too much into a general phrasing?

No discredit to those young assistants but that to me doesn’t fit their bill. There’s other former players in OC & assistant positions at nearby schools I’m familiar with as well and I don’t think they’ll get it either. Given this “firing/resignation”, they seem adamant to change the culture and whether right or wrong, that generally means an older, experienced coach.
