My inside source tells me it was a lot less about W-L than it was about program direction and discipline.

I would say not much is expected from Scott, they are rarely ever expected to be competitive.  The way they ended the season against Holmes was terrible.  Trying to stat pad and throwing a long ball on the last play of the game to score a TD in a running clock game.  Could you imagine the outrage if Cov Cath, Highlands, or Beechwood pulled that trick? Maybe that was all the coach could hang his hat on this year. Padding QB stats against a really bad schedule and a couple of wins. But, that last play against Holmes was not sportsman like and it might of been the last straw before letting him go. 

Think the guy you want at Scott should already be in the building there? Curious to see what they do going forward..

Trimnell would be a great hire IMO. No idea if he has interest, but someone from Scott should at least have a phone call with this guy!

How many Head Coaches will this make that the AD at Scott has hired now?  The question has to be asked, does he know what he wants or what he's looking for?  And didn't he used to have that job?

I could be wrong but I don't think so to that extent. Maybe in first halves and 3rd qtr's but not last drives. But also for those 3 the last regular season game is never their last game of the year.

They all throw the long ball on the last play of the game to pad stats???? I'd think those teams have back up players in by then. In fact, I'd say those teams have their star players hurting for stats since they don't get to play the whole game.

Yeah, I mean, frankly, anyone who thinks any of those three schools don't seriously pull back the reigns in lopsided games just don't know what they're looking at...pretty foolish statement to accuse those three schools and coaches of that kind of behavior.

I get the statement but definitely think there is 4 way different extents here.

In this case Queen might be going for close to 60 TD's this year. Where is he at?
