I just can't see #'s 3,4 and 5 being that high. There's a lot of losses amongst those 3. I think it's time to give the 2 Laurel boys a little more credit. I'd still have O'Boro in top 5 and Cooper and BGreen in the 8-10 range. But, it'll all work itself out in the next 2 weeks.

I think that no one on that list is as good as the teams Cooper has lost to.

Highlands really good, the Ohio team is good (don’t know much about them), but Cooper was hammered by Manual.  Atherton played Manual MUCH better than Cooper.  That said, I can make the same argument for Owensboro’s losses (X at full strength and CAL).  Bad games to start out a new QB/Coach.  I wish we would have them later in year. Cooper has a nice win vs Ryle though - Ryle has lost a lot of close games, but should still make Semi’s IMO.  Ryle/Trinity/SWarren/X should be there (if X is at fulls strength and has their QB back).

I full expect Cooper to be in Semi’s if it can beat either Woodford/Scott in the region final…or if it gets one of the Pulaski/Laurel teams in the region, they will win that game.  At that point I expect a Owensboro/BG/Cooper/Scott or Woodford Semi’s.  But Atherton/Madisonville/Pulaski may have something to say about that…maybe a Laurel team as well.

@jeff jackson who’s better among the laurels?  And Laurels would have lost to X, CAL, Manual, Highlands, Anderson OH, CAL again,  Scott County,  South Warren,  and probably OCath.

South and North Laurel would both be sitting at 0-9 playing those teams.

I definitely want to see what happens when South finally plays some 5A teams instead of 3A and 4A teams.

I'll be honest... I think #'s 1-7 would likely running clock both Laurels.

Anderson was ranked #3 OVERALL in Ohio. They are in the second largest class in Ohio.

The #9 ranked team is about to run the clock on one of the Laurels Friday night...

Didn't North Laurel beat Madison Central 9-7?  The same Madison Central that beat #6 Scott County 34-14.

Comparative scores are really tough to look at in this class. Results are everywhere and you could draw a lot of conclusions.

And that same Scott County just beat Collins 38-0 in Varsity play, while it took North Laurel a last minute touchdown to win?

5A one the more harder classes to rank. Mixed schedules have made it a good debate in rankings. The playoffs about to be too much fun this year in 5A. Looking forward to seeing how Highlands finishes the seasons after being down for so long. And looking forward to seeing what Bowling does rest the season with all that young talent but experienced coaching.
